Blickling's Garden of Lights Relaxed Evening
Enjoy our garden of lights event with a reduced capacity and a more relaxed atmosphere.
As darkness falls, the gardens of Blickling Estate will come alive with light and wonder. See the landscape transformed with bold, playful displays of colour and sound. Explore creative illuminations and interactive moments set against the backdrop of the beautiful historic hall and gardens.
Warm your hands with mulled drinks, savour seasonal bites, and indulge in sweet treats. Share the magic with family and friends and start your festive season with sparkle and joy at our biggest fundraising event of the year.
For this event we have a reduced capacity of 60%. This is not a quiet evening - we will turn the volume down on our music, but we encourage our visitors to be as noisy as they like. This event is particularly suited to those with neurodiverse needs, or anyone who would prefer a more relaxed atmosphere.
A limited number of mobility vehicles are available to hire for free for the evening. Please phone our welcome team to book.
Tickets:
Adult £16, child £9 (ages 5-17), one adult family £27, two adult family £43
Tickets for under 5s are free, but must be booked. Essential carer tickets are also available.
Family tickets includes up to three children.
All tickets must be pre-booked. Your ticket includes parking in our main car park.
Last entry to the event is 6.45pm and the event will close at 8pm.
To book for a non-relaxed evening or for our PAWs evening, please see the separate events.
Please note that event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Please note:
- Entry to the event will be up the front drive.
- The event takes place outside so please wrap up warm.
- The full illuminated garden trail is step-free and just over 1 mile long.
A changing place is available in the Farmyard which will be accessible at the start and end of the route. - Please note that only assistance dogs are allowed into the event except on our Paws evening.
- Families welcome. Everybody needs a ticket, including under 5's.
- The main car park will be closed between 4-5pm.
- Last time slot for entry to the garden is 6.30-6.45pm.
- Ticket charges also apply to National Trust members.
- The House will be closed for the evening.
