Sea Watch at Bolberry
Come and join the National Trust and Devon Wildlife Trust at Bolberry Down to learn all about Devon's marine megafauna. We will show you how to search for dolphins and whales from the land whilst collecting vital citizen science data.
An opportunity to join enthusiastic National Trust and Devon Wildlife Trust staff as we search for dolphins and porpoises at Bolberry Down and learn about our local species. As well as being beneficial for conservation, joining a sea survey can be valuable to our mental health and wellbeing. This accessible seawatch will be along the accessible path, which is suitable for most mobility vehicles.
Please note:
- Please park at Bolberry Down NT car park, TQ7 3DY (please note parking charges apply for non members). We will meet at the entrance to the car park and walk to site.
- Please bring binoculars/ scopes if you have them but we will have some available to look through. Please wear sturdy shoes/ boots with good grip and dress appropriately for the weather.
- There is designated parking for Blue Badge holders. Parking is free for Blue Badge holders. Our sea watch will be along the purpose-made accessible path at Bolberry, which is suitable for most mobility vehicles..
- Not suitable for children under 12.
