Meet at Coleridge Cottage and set off on this beginner walk around the charming village of Nether Stowey. From the home of Samuel Taylor Coleridge to St Mary's Church and a trip up to Castle Mount, this walk is the perfect introduction to Coleridge and the village that shaped his work.

Dogs on a lead are welcome on this walk. Normal admission applies to attendees wanting to visit Coleridge Cottage, but the tearoom can be used free of charge.

Please note:

  • Meet at Coleridge Cottage.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear study footwear suitable for walking. No flip flops or heeled shoes. Please bring water and snacks.
  • This walk is mostly flat and along tarmac. There may be some points where it is uneven underfoot.
  • Children welcome. Dogs welcome on a lead.
