Art and nature wellbeing walk at Pentire

Join National Trust ranger, Hannah, and local artist, Laura Frances Martin, for a seasonal art and nature wellbeing walk at Pentire headland.

Meeting at the visitor hub at Pentireglaze with coffee and cake, we’ll introduce the morning with a gentle activity. We'll then enjoy a 0.5 mile walk through the orchard and across Pentire’s nature-friendly farmland, on a traffic-free path down to Pentireglaze Haven (Baby Bay). On the way we’ll be sharing sensory, observational, arts and wellbeing activities, all rooted in the natural world around us. You’ll also have a miniature journey book of your own to take home afterwards. All materials are provided and no prior experience is necessary - you do not need to be an artist to enjoy this event.

Please note:

  • Meet in the courtyard at the visitor hub next to the main car park at Pentireglaze.
  • Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for the weather.
  • The event includes a 0.5 mile walk along sloping, naturally surfaced footpaths. The path is uneven and rocky in places.
  • This workshop is only suitable for adults.
  • Teas/coffee and cake provided on arrival. Speciality teas and coffees and other food can be bought from Pentyr Café, or you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy after the event.
  • Food and drinks prepared in our kitchens are made using a wide range of ingredients. Whilst we do our very best, we can't guarantee that any of our products are totally allergen free.
  • Parking charges may apply - free for National Trust members and Blue Badge holders.
