Heritage in your hands

We've teamed up with the Cheshire Society of Architects to offer some unique hands on heritage skill tours, at Little Moreton Hall, specifically crafted for young People. Booking essential.

Join us for a fun and inspiring day at Little Moreton Hall, hosted in collaboration with the Cheshire Society of Architects and the National Trust.

We hope the expert-led guided tours will give young visitors an insightful introduction into the world of traditional heritage crafts. From timber framing to archaeology, young people will step into the shoes of heritage professionals, learn about their work, and explore the diverse range of career paths that led them to where they are today.

  • Please head to the Welcome Building first to show them your e-ticket. Please keep your e-ticket as you will need to show this for your timed tour.
  • Please dress for the weather on the day and wear sturdy comfortable shoes for exploring the wonky wonder that is Little Moreton Hall.
  • Uneven ground in the outdoors and uneven floors in the hall. Cobbles in the courtyard. Powered Mobility Vehicles and motorised wheelchairs with a maximum width of 0.5 metres can enter the Hall. Manual wheelchairs are available to borrow.
