Poetry 'Open Mic' session at Leith Hill Place

The Dorking area boasts talented poets to make you see things differently, laugh, and maybe even shed a tear.  Come and hear them read – and take the mic yourself if you’d like to.

Come and listen to Mole Valley Poets and friends as they share their thought provoking, laughter and tear producing work in the beautiful surroundings of Leith Hill Place. All are welcome to take a turn at the microphone or to simply listen and soak up the atmosphere. Mole Valley Poets are a long established group of local poets who meet regularly to hone their skills and have a pedigree of successful readings and open mic events run over the last 25 years. With guest MC Simon Edmands from the Dorking Guerrilla Poets, who run open mic poetry and spoke word events in Dorking, and a range of styles and personalities, a stimulating and interesting afternoon is guaranteed.

This will also be the last chance to spend time at Leith Hill Place for the 2025 season.
