For UK Fungus Day, explore the woodland with our Nature Group to discover and observe a range of fungi at Morden Hall Park.
Celebrate UK Fungus Day with a gentle guided walk at Morden Hall Park. Members of the Nature Group will lead you on a route through the park to uncover the fascinating world of fungi. Learn about the vital role fungi play in the natural world, take a closer look at their forms and structures, and enjoy a simple activity to see spores in action.
This is a chance to explore together rather than a formal identification session, so expect plenty of curiosity and discovery along the way. Please note this is not a foraging walk and no fungi will be picked.
Duration: around 1 hour
Tickets: £3 per person, suitable for all ages, booking essential.
Please note:
- Meet in the Stableyard.
- This activity will take place outside so please ensure that you wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear for muddy and uneven paths.
- Route is will include uneven ground in wooded areas. Please see the access page on our website for our full access statement.
- Only assistance dogs.
- Parking incl disabled available in the Garden Centre car park, a short walk to/from the Stableyard. Disabled toilets in Snuff Mill.
