Orchard Walk around Golden Cap
Take a walk around the Golden Cap Estate and visit four of the beautiful orchards which thrive there.
This walk will take around 1.5 - 2 hours and takes you around a section of the Golden Cap estate visiting four of the established orchards, all with an interesting mix and variety of apples.
The last orchard should have a selection of apples to allow you to take a few samples home so please bring a bag !
Meet at Filcombe Farm car park which is the next left turn after the turning to Langdon Woods.

Turn off the A35 onto Muddyford Lane, this is close to the Felicity Farm Shop -
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. The event is entirely outdoors and some footpaths can be muddy if there has been rain. You may also want to bring a small bag for apples.

There is a crossing of the road on Muddyford lane.
Pushchairs will find this difficult and are not recommended. -

As you drive down Muddyford Lane you will see a sign saying 'No Cars'. Normally public cars are not permitted on this road but as you are booked on the walk you are allowed and can continue past the sign.
