Family-friendly Wellbeing Walk
Spend time in the fresh air with your family and friends this half term, re-connect with nature, and stretch your legs on one of our volunteer-led group walks.
On this family-friendly wellbeing walk, you can step away from the hustle of modern life and join us to explore the stunning park at Lyme. This walk has been created for children over the age of 8 and their adults.
No walking experience is required but please note that the route is approximately 2 miles (3.2km) and will go over uneven and rough terrain to the Cage and through Elmerhurst wood.
If you book onto the walk and are unable to attend, please contact Lyme to cancel your booking so that others can come along.
Please note:
- Please meet outside the information kiosk in the car park.
- Sturdy footwear is essential as some paths are uneven. Please also wear weather appropriate clothing. Insect repellent and suncream is also recommended.
- Part of the route is on steep and uneven terrain. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. The walk is approximately 2 miles (3.2km).
- Suitable for families with children aged 8+.
- To create a peaceful atmosphere, free from distractions, the Wellbeing Walk is not suitable for dog walkers. Please note that there may be other visitors in the park with dogs along the walking route.
