This rugged coastline, riddled with savage rocks and hidden coves, has claimed hundreds of vessels over the centuries—from merchant ships to wartime wrecks. As you trace the cliffside paths, your guide will bring to life tales of daring rescues, tragic losses, and the heroic efforts of the lifeboat crews.

Please note:

  • Meet at Lizard Point NT carpark (lighthouse) W3W
  • Please come in sturdy footwear and bring some waterproofs in case of showers.
  • The route follows sections along the South West Coast Path, including uneven ground, steep gradient, steps and a number of stiles. The walk can be muddy so please wear sturdy boots, trainers will not be suitable.
  • Recommended 12+
  • Dogs welcome on leads.
