Helios and Diwali at Kedleston - Hall Entry

From 17 October to 2 November, experience Luke Jerram's Helios at Kedleston Hall as part of this year's Diwali celebrations. Entry to the hall must be pre-booked.

From 17 October to 2 November, Luke Jerram's brand-new 7-metre diameter sculpture of the sun, Helios, will be on display at Kedleston Hall. The hall will be illuminated for Diwali, filled with the warm colour of marigolds, flickering diya lamps, and vibrant rangoli patterns in celebration of the Festival of Lights.

Between Friday 17 October to Sunday 2 November, you'll need to book tickets to enter the hall at Kedleston in advance, even if you're a National Trust member. 

Your booking will give you timed entry into the hall. You will have a 15-minute timeslot to enter.  There will be no access to the hall before your ticketed time slot. Once you are inside, you are welcome to explore the hall at your own pace and stay as long as you like until the hall closes at 4pm.

Entry is free for National Trust members. Please don't forget to bring your membership card. If you are not a National Trust member, admission is £15 per adult, £7.50 per child (ages 5-17), £37.50 per family (2 adults, and up to 3 children) or £22.50 per one adult family. This will be payable upon arrival at Visitor Reception.

Booking is required for all visitors wishing to enter the hall, including children aged 3+. There is no need to book for children under 3.

Please note:

  • Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival. 
  • Once you have arrived in the visitor car park, please head to Visitor Reception to have your membership card scanned or pay for your admission.
  • Please wear layers appropriate for a cool mansion house in autumn.
  • Accessible parking and toilet available. Some surfaced paths accessible by wheelchair. Level access to restaurant and ground floor of Hall, wheelchair available for use. First floor access to Hall via flight of stairs.
  • Children are welcome. No booking required for children under 3.
