'Drawn Together' at Monk's House
Join us for 'Drawn Together' as part of The Big Draw. Throughout the house and garden there are drawing activities for all ages. Follow the gentle prompts, or simply sketch what you see. No experience needed just curiosity and a moment to pause.
Throughout October various informal art activities will be available throughout the house and garden. Take clipboard and paper and sketch your favourite item in the sitting room, sit on the lawn marking out the views of the downs with ink, collect natural found objects and outline in pencil, and more besides. The possibilities are endless! Take a moment for yourself to be inspired and have a go.

Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet at Visitor Reception.
- Your usual weather appropriate attire. If the weather is wet drawing activities may be limited. All materials are provided.
- There are steps up to, and into the property. Level, brick paved paths throughout the garden. Please see the Monk's House website for our accessibility statement.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- This event is free but house and garden ticket admission fees apply.
