Autumnal Besom Broom Decorating Workshop

This autumn, Clumber Park is hosting eco-florist Liz Baxter. Join her for a creative and joyful workshop to decorate a high quality, large besom broom with natural materials. A perfect way to add some seasonal cheer to your home.

Besom brooms are steeped in history and tradition, symbolising protection, cleansing and new beginnings. 
Join Liz Baxter from Side Farm Flowers, flower farm and eco florist, for a besom broom decorating workshop. Using locally grown dried flowers and natural materials, you will decorate a large high quality besom broom to create a unique seasonal decoration for your home. 

The workshops will take place on the 11th of October in the Parsonage at Clumber Park. The morning session runs from 10am-12pm and the afternoon session from 1pm to 3pm. Refreshments will be provided with a hot drink and your choice of a shortbread biscuit or cookie.

Please note:

  • The Parsonage is located within the main visitor facilities at Clumber Park. Pass through the Lincoln Stables and through the black gate to the left hand side. The Parsonage is on the left hand side.
  • The workshops will be indoors but our historic buildings can be draughty so please dress for the weather.
  • The workshops are fully accessible.
  • Children are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult.
