Helios by Sunset at Kedleston Hall

See the sun like never before as Luke Jerram's iconic sculpture shines inside Kedleston Hall, alongside decorations in celebration of Diwali. Entry into the hall must be pre-booked.

A special opportunity to experience Helios after sunset inside Kedleston Hall. Helios, a seven-metre sculpture of the Sun, has been created by artist, Luke Jerram. It’s been made from 400,000 photographs of the Sun’s surface and observations by NASA to replicate swirling solar winds and sunspots.

Advance booking is required for all visitors into the hall ages 3+, including members and non members. Suitable for all ages.

Please note:

  • Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival. 
  • Once you have arrived in the visitor car park, please head to Visitor Reception to have your membership card scanned or pay for your admission.
  • The hall is unheated so please wear warm clothing.
  • Accessible parking and toilet available. Some surfaced paths accessible by wheelchair. Level access to restaurant and ground floor of Hall, wheelchair available for use.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Booking required age 3+.
  • If you are not a National Trust member, admission is £15 per adult, £7.50 per child (ages 5-17), £37.50 per family (2 adults, and up to 3 children), £22.50 per one adult family. This will be payable upon arrival at Kedleston Hall prior to your timed entry to the hall.
  • Entry is free for National Trust members. Please don't forget to bring your membership card.
