Candle and lip balm making in Godolphin House
Get into the Christmas spirit and learn how to make your own beeswax candles in the seasonally decorated Godolphin House.
Come and join our resident beekeeper and make your own bees wax candles using wax harvested from her hives and take away your festive creations to give as gifts or enjoy for yourself! Watch her demonstration on making other bees wax products that you can make at home. Workshops take place in the entrance hall of Godolphin House.
Tea, coffee and mince pies are included in the ticket price.
Please note:
- Please show printed or electronic confirmation of your tickets at the Welcome hut on arrival.
- Please bring along an apron or wear clothing you don't mind potentially getting wax on.
- Candle making is accessible to wheelchair users. Limited access to the rest of the house but large print guide, BSL tours on tablet, photo album and easy read guide are available at the welcome hut.
- Not suitable for children under 12.
