Listen to festive songs and Elizabethan tales on the shortest day of the year.
This year, celebrate the Winter Solstice and listen to songs and Midwinter tales of old from our Storyfolk team in Hardwick Hall.
The length of the performance 1.5 hours and will take place in the ground floor museum rooms and seating will be provided.
If you are a National Trust member or have purchased a House and Gardens ticket, there will be enough time to explore Hardwick Wintertide in the hall after the performance.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet at the entrance to the Hall at 5.15pm for the performance to start at 5.30pm.
- Please wrap up warm as Hardwick is an old building and can be cold during the winter months.
- This event takes place on the ground floor of the hall and is accessible via ramped access and step-free access through the gardens. Seating is provided. An induction loop is available on request, please contact the team before your visit to arrange this via phone call or email.
- This performance is suitable for children over 5.
