House tour: The Library Unbound

Would you find out some of the secrets of Nostell's book collection?

Go behind the scenes in Nostell's library, take a peek inside some of the teams' favourite books, and discover how we care for 9000 volumes in our collection. Led by a member of our Collections team alongside one of our Book Survey Volunteers, this tour will not only explore the history of country house libraries and how Nostell's library came to be what it is today, it will also delve into the topic of conservation. For lovers of historic books, this tour is not to be missed.
