Quiet session - Gruffalo's Child Trail
Join us an hour before public opening time for a quieter Gruffalo's Child trail experience.
These sessions are designed for anyone who would benefit from a calmer Christmas trail experience, alongside others who may be more familiar with additional needs. Experience the Gruffalo's Child trail with less people, no dogs (assistance dogs only) and with access to sensory backpacks on request.

General admission to the public will start from 10:15.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Head to the welcome centre and show your ticket, please note if your not a member then garden admission will need to be paid upon arrival.
- You can arrive anytime within your 15 minute booking window.
- All trail points are located next to garden paths and paths are wheelchair accessible. Assistance dogs only. A visual story of what to expect around the trail is available at the welcome centre or can be sent on request before your visit. Please email saltram@nationaltrust.org.uk to request a visual story.
- Only assistance dogs will be permitted into the garden for this session. Dogs will have access to the garden from 10:15am.
