Ilam Park: Father's Day Bird Box Workshop
Celebrate Father's day this year by making memories and bird boxes out in the sunshine with our wonderful Ranger team!
This family friendly event is the perfect craft for Father's and families of all ages. Start the day with a craft and then make use of our walks and our Manifold Tearoom to make it a full day out to remember!
Book a slot between 10am - 1pm and with the help of our rangers, put together a bird box kit and decorate it ready to put up at home.
£15.00 per bird box kit
Meet us underneath the Italian Garden outside the arches.
There's lots to do at Ilam Park, play in the Hidden Play Garden, pick up a bargain in the Stables Bookshop and a tasty treat in the Manifold Tearoom, it's a full day of fun guaranteed this Easter.
There is no entry fee for Ilam Park, only a charge for car parking for non members. This event, like all our events is open to members of the National Trust and non-members. Money raised from our events goes back into looking after the White Peak.
Please note:
- Please meet under the Italian Gardens, under the arches.
- Dress for the weather and we'll provide any safety gear we think you might need.
- There is step free access to the event site. There is an accessible toilet in the stable yard, baby changing facilities in all toilets and a changing place in the YHA courtyard.
- All families welcome.
- Making bird boxes will involve using hand tools. We welcome all families but children must be supervised with adults at all times. We'll ensure all ages can take part in a part of the process.
