Outdoor Theatre: As You Like It
Join award-winning Illyria Theatre in the gardens at Hanbury Hall as they perform William Shakespeare’s As You Like It on Saturday 25 July.
Four pairs of soulmates meet in the Forest of Arden. One pair leap straight into bed. Another are instantly struck by each other’s beauty. The third torment each other. But the fourth enjoy a courtship that is so witty and playful that Love itself is stretched to the limit.

140-minutes (approx.), including a 20-minute interval

Please note:
- When you arrive at the venue, parking is available in the main visitor car park. The performance area is located on the events lawn, to the right hand side of the Hall.
- Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic if you wish.
- The performance area is approx. 180 meters from the visitor car park, on the events lawn next to the Hall. A buggy will be available to transport you from the car park to the performance area if needed. The performance area is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible toilet in the café.
- Suitable for all ages
- For those wishing to purchase refreshments, the Stables Café will be open before the performance begins and during the interval. Toilets are located in the Stableyard, adjacent to the café facility.
