Bluebell Tour and Breakfast at Rufford Old Hall
This Spring, tuck into a tasty breakfast, followed by a tour of the beautiful bluebells in the grounds of Rufford Old Hall.
Embrace the season and join us for a delicious breakfast barm and hot drink in the tea-room before we open to the public. Then head outside for a bluebell tour to learn all about these beautiful plants. The tour, which will take you into the gardens and woodland, will be expertly guided by garden volunteer Gil.
Breakfast is a choice of bacon, sausage or egg barm. Please indicate your choice of barm at checkout and let us know of any additional dietary requirements. A regular hot drink is included in the price and can be ordered on the day.
Dogs on short leads are welcome on the walk and in restricted areas of the tea-room.
This event takes place before normal opening hours. Normal admission applies if you wish to stay on site to visit the house.
Please note:
- Please meet in the tea-room at 9.30am.
Your tour guide will collect you from the tea-room to start the tour at 10.15am. - Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear suitable for walking around the grounds. Even on sunny Spring days, the shade of the trees can make the woodlands feel cold.
- Garden is fully accessible with level access and some slight slopes. Woodland has flat paths. The courtyard where the toilets are located is entirely cobbled.
- Children are welcome, minimum aged advised 7+
