Join us for a new tour of Attingham’s east-wing apartment, telling the story of the life and times of Teresa, Lady Berwick (1890-1972). This exclusive tour takes you inside the first and second-floor apartment, which was home to Teresa from the late 1940s.
Discover more about Lady Teresa's early life growing up in an artistic household in Venice, Italy, and her life at Attingham. This is a rare opportunity to see items from the collection connected to Teresa that have not previously been on display.
The tour takes place against the backdrop of a selection of rooms featuring restored period furniture belonging to a later resident.
Tours last 45 minutes | Tours cost £6 per person | Booking Advised
Access to the apartment is via stairs only, including a spiral staircase.
Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- The Mansion is a 10-15 minute walk from Visitor Reception. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before. The tour will begin in the Picture Gallery in the Mansion.
- Please dress warmly, as the rooms may be cold in chilly weather. To protect the historic interiors, avoid wearing stilettos.
- Visitors must be able to climb a spiral staircase.
- The nearest toilets are located in the West Pavilion of the Mansion.
- Assistance dogs only on the tour and inside the Mansion.
- These tours are not suitable for children under 14.
- Photography & filming: Not permitted during the tour.
- Spare tickets may be available at Visitor Reception on the day.
- Each tour has 8 spaces and starts at 11am, 12pm, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm.
