Young Archeologists (and their accompanying adults): join the team for a morning workshop to find out all about how archaeology works, the basics of what you need to uncover evidence of the past and get hands on with history!
Young Archeologists (and their accompanying adults). Join the team for a morning workshop to find out all about how archaeology works, the basics of what you need to uncover evidence of the past, and to handle some real archaeological items. Then we'll take a stroll to look for archaeology all around us.
For children aged 8 years and above, and one free accompanying adult per child. £12 per child (including one accompanying adult)
Please note:
- Head to visitor reception, who will direct you to the church.
- Please dress for the weather - we will be outdoors at times and spending time in unheated spaces.
- This is taking place in different locations, including in the church. The church can be echoey and can be a noisy space if busy. There is a ramp into the church. There is low lighting if the day is dim. Please contact us if you want to discuss your access needs.
- This is aimed at children 8 years and up, with accompanying adults.
- This is not suitable for dogs except assistance dogs.
- This workshop ticket means you can use the site facilities afterwards if you wish.
- To visit the house and garden please scan a membership card or purchase admission.
