Bluebell Photography and Conservation Walk

Immerse yourself in our breathtaking bluebells with a conservation and photography walk in Scathes Wood on the Ightham Mote estate.

Join a guided walk led by Area Ranger Steve Heywood and local professional photographer Jane Mucklow.

Steve will bring the woodland to life as he shares the fascinating conservation work and rich history of Scathes Wood and its iconic bluebells, offering insight into how this special landscape is cared for and protected.

Alongside this, Jane will provide practical, expert advice on how to photograph the bluebells beautifully, with tips suitable for any type of camera – from smartphones and iPhones to compact cameras and SLRs. She’ll cover composition, light, and creative techniques to help you get the very best results.
