Pressed Flower Pumpkin Decorating Workshop
This Autumn, join local artist Lisa to create pressed flower decorated pumpkins resulting in beautiful keepsakes to enjoy for the season and beyond.
This October unleash your creativity with local artist and workshop host Lisa Howard.
In this two and a half hour workshop, Lisa will guide you through the process of decorating your pumpkin using pressed and dried seasonal flowers and plants.
Book now and join in on a fun, creative experience and leave with a uniquely decorated pumpkin you'll be excited to display for the season and beyond.
All materials are provided and your decorated pumpkin can last up to 9 months.
Entrance to the property grounds and house are covered in the ticket price. If you'd like to visit the house, please arrive with plenty of time before the start of the workshop or allow time after the class to explore the site.
Food and drink can be purchased on the day to enjoy during the session. Look out for our seasonal cakes and bakes or extend your visit with lunch in the tea-room.
Rufford Old Hall's annual Scarecrow Festival will be taking place in October so spend some time exploring this scarecrow spectacular. Explore the house and grounds and enjoy Rufford in Autumn.
The tearoom will be open from 10:30am - 4:30pm and last admission to the house is at 4pm. Please note that the car park closes at 5pm.
This event is suitable for children aged 7+. Due to the size of the workshop space, 1 unticketed adult will be admitted for each child family. Normal admission applies for unticketed adults.
Please note:
- From the car park, enter through the second-hand bookshop where you will be greeted by the Welcome Team. The team will then guide you to where the class will take place.
- The event is indoors but we recommend wrapping up warm for the class as the entrance is an external door.
- The cottage garden room is accessible with level floor and wall to wall carpet. Please get in contact with the property team to discuss your requirements.
- A full property accessibility statement is available on the National Trust Rufford Old Hall webpage.
