East 15 presents: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
East 15 Acting School presents an ensemble-led production of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
As would have been the case in Shakespeare’s own Globe Theatre, our productions are adapted for and created by the company. This ensemble spirit is a crucial part of our ethos at East 15 Acting School. Now part of the University of Essex, East 15 was founded over 75 years ago by Maggie Bury to train actors in the tradition of Joan Littlewood’s Theatre Workshop Company at the Theatre Royal Stratford, London.
In 2026 we are delighted to bring you A Midsummer Nights Dream (Directed by Hannah Miller) in which our actors, who have been training together for the last 2 years, use all their individual and collaborative company skills to present thrilling and original productions. This will be the first public performance for the current second year students and Shakespeare with a fresh mind!
Friday 5 June
7pm–9pm
Adults £12.50, Under 18s £8
Please note:
- Please meet in the Tea Room where you will find the entrance to the Barn Theatre.
- There is wheelchair access.
- This event is suitable for children 14+
