Discover a different kind of walk this May with a relaxing 'Walk and Draw' experience at Newark Park.

Join artist Henry St Leger for a gentle guided walk through the beautiful gardens overlooking the stunning Ozleworth Valley. Along the route, you’ll pause at a series of scenic spots where Henry will introduce simple drawing techniques designed to help you capture your surroundings and see nature from a fresh perspective.

This welcoming creative session is perfect for everyone – whether you’re completely new to drawing or already an enthusiastic artist. The focus is on curiosity, connection, and taking time to enjoy the landscape in a new way.

What to expect:
•    A 1.5 hour guided walk with six drawing stops
•    Friendly instruction and easy to follow techniques
•    All drawing materials provided
•    A relaxed, supportive atmosphere

Come along, slow down, and discover the joy of observing nature through art.

Please note:

  • Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Meet at Visitor Reception.
  • Dress for the great outdoors. There is not seating at every stop so you may be sitting on logs or grass at points.
  • The walk takes places across the three areas of the garden including steep gradients and bark paths.
  • Aimed at adults.
