Nature walks at Parke
A free and friendly volunteer-led walk around the beautiful natural landscapes of the Parke Estate.
Join two Community Walk Volunteers who will guide you across the nature-filled Parke Estate (around 3 miles).
Get out into nature, share the wonder, and meet other like-minded people. Perfect if you prefer not to walk alone, or if you want some gentle motivation to get out into the fresh air.
Wednesday walks are dog-free, well-behaved dogs are welcome on a short lead on Sunday walks.
We'll be adding more dates for guided nature walks throughout the year. Or you may like to explore some of our themed walks too.
Please note:
- Please meet at the Map Board in the corner of the car park and look out for the friendly team in red what3words: ///walnuts.flipper.prowling
- Please wear sensible footwear and suitable clothing, including waterproofs. You might like to take water and a snack.
- These walks will suit those able to cover varying terrain including steep hills, uneven ground and slippery tree roots. If you feel you can't join due to accessibility needs we would love to hear from you so that we can create opportunities in future.
- Accompanied children are welcome on these 2-hour walks.
