Ahoy there me hearties! Long John Silver and his crew of salty old sea dogs are weighing anchor at Ventnor Botanic Gardens this summer with the pirate classic, Treasure Island.
From the moment young Jim Hawkins stumbles upon a treasure map at the Admiral Benbow Inn he finds himself embroiled in the murky underworld of pirates - and soon he is on the high seas in search of the pirate hoard . But once aboard the Hispaniola, Jim becomes only too aware that he is not the only one who knows of the map's existence..
Packed full of action, drama, sword fights and sea shanties, Island boy Michael Whitmore’s thrilling new adaptation will have you on the edge of your seat as Jim manfully tries to outwit the pirates and get to the treasure first.
