Join Herefordshire Libraries in a fun-filled, storytelling adventure around the gardens at Croft Castle and create your very own magical story along the way.
Calling all explorers to take part in this imaginative and playful storytelling adventure with Herefordshire Libraries.
Be enchanted by fairy‑themed, woodland‑inspired, and garden‑based tales, all read aloud in the magical setting of the walled garden.
A mischievous spirit named Puck has hidden magical items amongst the trees and flowers. Will you be able to find them all? Once you’ve found each one, let them spark your imagination and inspire the tale you’ll tell.
This event is designed to encourage imaginative play in nature and takes place outdoors, so please make sure you dress for the weather on the day.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Free event, normal admission applies.
Booking is required.
Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet on the main lawn outside the castle. Directional signage will be out on the day.
- This is an outdoor event, please wear weather appropriate clothes and shoes.
- The walled garden has a gravel path, but please be aware that this event will occasionally leave the main route and venture onto grassy areas.
