Wisley Bridges
Join us for a 9.5 mile walk that goes from Ripley Common car park, near the M25 and over the A3 via the UK’s first heathland green bridge.
Leaving the new roadworks behind, we will continue along Ockham Common to the Semaphore Tower on Telegraph Hill, presumably also once a 'first' for its time. We'll stop for refreshments/picnic at the Ockham Bites hut and then continue back over the bridge to Pyrford Lock and back to Ripley.
Please note:
- Meet at Ripley Green car park, just off the High Street GU23 6AR
- Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather.
- The walk includes uneven ground and steps.
- Please bring a packed lunch.
