May Day Storytelling with Storyfolk

Celebrate May Day by listening to seasonal stories and songs on May Day, spring, and blossom.

Enjoy an enchanting afternoon of storytelling in the Orchards of Hardwick. Celebrate the May Day and listen to the seasonal stories and songs of May Day, spring and blossom. 

The length of the performance is 1 hour and will take place in the storytelling tent in the orchards.

Please note:

  • Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please meet by the storytelling tent in the Fruiting Orchard. Our team at Visitor Reception will be able to direct you.
  • Please arrive at the storytelling tent at least 5 minutes before the performance is due to start.
  • Please dress for the Great British weather, as this event takes place in the storytelling tent.
  • This event will take place in a tent in the garden. There will be a mixture of bean bags, benches and deck chairs as seating. We cannot guarantee seating for everyone. Accessible parking is located to the front of the car park and facilities are available in the Stableyard.
  • Children over 5 welcome.
