Cut flower workshop at Greenway

Join us for a practical, hands-on introduction to the world of cut flower growing, perfect for those interested in establishing a cut flower garden at home, and take home your own flower posy.

Led by Greenway's Head Gardener, we'll head into the garden before it opens to the public, exploring the methods used for growing cut flowers in favour of nature, looking at the sustainable benefits and how to keep a year-round supply in your own natural space.

The tour continues inside Greenway house, discovering how the Trust’s Cut Flower Volunteers create themed displays, before going behind the scenes in the potting sheds, where you’ll be able to collect flowers from the dedicated cut flower garden and make your own posy to take home.
Finish the morning with coffee, tea and pastries.

Limited spaces available, booking is essential.

Please note:

  • Meet at Visitor Welcome Building.
  • Part of this workshop takes place outdoors, we recommend weather appropriate clothing and suitable footwear.
  • The tour takes place on level, accessible paths.
  • Not suitable for children under 14.
