Spring Workshop - Sketching at Wimpole
Join local artist Carolina Rabei on a walk round the Walled Garden and Home Farm, learning how to sketch plants and animals.
This spring, Wimpole is hosting a selection of creative workshops.
In this 2-hour session you will follow the guidance of local artist Carolina Rabei to develop your sketching skills and complete some sketches of Wimpole.
This session will take you around the Walled Garden and to Home Farm and aims for you to connect with nature through creativity.
Carolina’s illustrated book A Story of The Seasons with text by Anna Wilson was published by Nosy Crow in collaboration with the National Trust in 2024. The book celebrates the beauty of the seasons, combining eye catching illustrations with engaging text to offer a magical journey through various habitats.
Carolina works from her home near Cambridge. She finds a lot of inspiration in nature and also from her young son. She loves working on a diverse range of projects, creating worlds of warmth and heart.
Please note:
- Please meet at the Walled Garden Gate.
- Wear comfortable shoes to be able to walk around in. Dress appropriately for weather.
- Wheelchair accessible, please email in advance to confirm accessibility requirements.
- This event is not suitable for children.
- Except for assistance/guide dogs, we regret that we cannot admit any dogs or other pets to this workshop.
- £45 per person, admission to the Estate is included for the ticket holder.
