Spring Workshop - Watercolour Blossom
Join artist Nicky Hunter to create a painting of blossom using watercolours.
This spring, Wimpole is hosting a selection of creative workshops.
In this 2-hour session you will follow the guidance of artist Nicky Hunter to paint a beautiful display of blossom in watercolour.
Located on the lawn in front of the Old Rectory Restaurant, this session aims for you to connect with nature through creativity.
Nicky Hunter is a professional watercolour artist based in Buckinghamshire and well renowned in the UK as a tutor in this beautiful medium , particularly known for her signature flamboyant florals. Her creative foundation was built initially gaining an art & design Diploma at Telford College, followed by studying at De Montfort University, where she earned a degree in Textiles & Surface Pattern Design. This education launched an illustrious twenty-year career that took her across India, China, and Europe in search of the luxurious silks and evocative fabrics that inspired her textile designs and the collections of fabrics she created. Her first love is painting and this is what she will share with you and help you enjoy during this sessions at Wimpole Estate.

- Please meet on the Old Rectory Restaurant Lawn.
- Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.
- The event takes place on grass which is accessed via a flat hard surfaced path.
- This event is not suitable for children.
- Except for assistance/guide dogs, we regret that we cannot admit any dogs or other pets to this workshop.
