Spring Workshop - Acrylic Painting (Sunny Daffodil)

Join local artist Jennie Veleg of Jennie Vee Art for a relaxing Acrylic Painting Workshop. Explore gentle, meditative, step by step painting of a sunny daffodil.

This spring, Wimpole is hosting a selection of creative workshops.

In this 2-hour session, you will be guided by local artist and teacher Jennie Verleg of Jennie Vee Art in Acrylic Painting.

Set on the lawn in front of the Old Rectory Restaurant, this outdoor experience invites you to connect with nature through creativity.

Sunny Daffodil

  • A calm and gentle session focused on brush techniques and colour mixing.
  • Perfect for both beginners and experienced artists who enjoy a more controlled, mindful approach to painting this simple yet striking symbol of spring.
  • Fully guided with clear, step-by-step tuition from an experienced teacher.

Jennie Verleg is an established art teacher working across Royston and Sandon, known for making art accessible and engaging by helping each participant discover their own unique talent. She loves Wimpole, having visited with her family for years, and is very excited to be painting nature with others in such a beautiful setting. Ahead of starting her masters degree in fine art this September, these workshops bring together her experience, enthusiasm, and fresh perspective—offering a welcoming space to explore creativity and develop confidence in painting.
