Spring Workshop - Monoprinting

Join local artist Rhiannon Maslen to create floral inspired prints and learn about the art of Monoprinting.

This spring, Wimpole is hosting a selection of creative workshops.

In this 3-hour session you will follow the guidance of local artist Rhiannon Maslen to use the skill of monoprinting to create floral inspired prints. You will start with a short walk around the estate for inspiration. You will draw sketches inspired by plants and then, using a small printing press, turn them into artistic prints to take home.

Located on the lawn in front of the Old Rectory Restaurant, this session aims for you to connect with nature through creativity.

Rhiannon has practised printmaking over the last 15yrs using a wide variety of techniques. She particularly enjoys the endless possibilities when creating original prints especially combining techniques together. Handprinting gives a uniqueness to each and every print, it is always exciting.
