Food Growing - King's Square Community Centre - 30 May, 10am
Join us to find out how to green your balcony or window box this spring. To help you get started with the Sky Gardening Challenge, the National Trust has teamed up with experts this spring to bring you a series of free, hands-on workshops.
Join The Barefoot Planter, Chauntelle Lewis, to explore the basics of growing food on your balcony or window box.
Prepare to get your hands dirty and get gardening as the team takes you through how to start your balcony greening journey. At the end, you can take what you have planted home with you.
Please note:
- This venue has level access for wheelchair users and those with mobility aids with a dedicated accessible toilet.
- The workshop content is aimed at adults but any attending children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult (please also book a ticket for any children over age 5 attending).
- Unfortunately this event is not suitable for dogs, with the exception of those required for access needs.
Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Workshops supported by L&G and being delivered in collaboration with Islington in Bloom
