Join us to find out how to green your balcony or window box this spring. To help you get started with the Sky Gardening Challenge, the National Trust has teamed up with experts this spring to bring you a series of free, hands-on workshops.
Join Northern Lily to explore the basics of urban farming and growing edibles on your balcony or window box.
Prepare to get your hands dirty and get gardening as the Northern Lily team takes you through how to start your balcony greening journey. At the end, you can take your garden creation home with you.

- Location: Northern Lily, Grass Roots Project, Entrance between 8-10 Marlborough Drive, M35 0LE
- Fully accessible site.
- Wear comfortable clothing, gloves provided.
- Suitable for children but please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. (Please also book a ticket for any children over age 5 attending.)
- The site is not suitable for dogs.
