Flat to Fork, Food Growing Workshop - Castlefield Viaduct - 27 June, 1pm
Join us to find out how to green your balcony or window box this spring. To help you get started with the Sky Gardening Challenge, the National Trust has teamed up with experts this spring to bring you a series of free, hands-on workshops.
Join the Plant CIC team at Castlefield Viaduct to explore the basics of growing edibles through urban farming on your balcony or window box.
Prepare to get your hands dirty and get gardening as the Plant gardening team takes you through how to start your balcony greening journey.
Please note:
- Accessibility: the Viaduct is accessible by lift at Deansgate Metrolink stop and there are smooth paths from the lift to and on the Viaduct.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- This workshop is suitable for families of all ages but please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. (Please also book a ticket for any children over age 5 attending).
- Unfortunately this event is not suitable for dogs, with the exception of those required for access needs.
