Join us to find out how to green your balcony or window box this spring and support urban nature and pollinators. To help you get started with the Sky Gardening Challenge, the National Trust has teamed up with experts this spring to bring you a series of free, hands-on workshops.

Join the team at Hulme Community Garden Centre to explore the basics of turning your balcony or window box into a green oasis for nature.

Prepare to get your hands dirty and get gardening as the garden centre team takes you through how to start your balcony greening journey. At the end, you can take your garden creation home with you.

Please note:

  • Meet at HCGC Garden Polytunnel (will be signposted from the shop).
  • Fully accessible including accessible toilet.
  • Some of the workshop will be in the gardens so please dress appropriately for the weather.
  • The workshop content is aimed at adults, but any attending children will be accommodated.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome.
