Boat trips in partnership with Blackwater Community Barge
In partnership with Blackwater Community Barge, we are running accessible summer boat trips this summer.
Nestled amidst the serene landscapes, the Blackwater River has been a lifeline since the 1800s, serving as a vital artery for transporting goods and people, blending business with leisure for the McGeough Bond Family.
Join us for a memorable boat trip along the tranquil waters of the Blackwater River. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking views and embark on a journey through time as we pay homage to the legacy of this historic waterway.
Slots are running from 10.30am (every 30 mins) until 5pm.
Price - £4 per adult and £2 per child.
This price is an additional charge on top of the admission fee/member entry.

Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please check in at Visitor Reception and then the boat trips will depart from Bond's Bridge jetty (5 min walk).
- This is an outdoor experience, so please come prepared with coats.
- The boat trips are fully accessible for wheel chairs and mobility scooters.
- Children are welcome.
- Dogs are welcome on the boat.
