Guided walk: Coast and countryside circular walk
Join our walk leader on a leisurely coast and countryside route taking in the village of Cockthorpe.
Our walk leader will guide you on a leisurely 5.5-mile (8km) walk from Morston Quay, weaving away from the coast along the Norfolk Coast Path National Trail, through woodland next to a river and on to the village of Cockthorpe. There will be opportunities to stop along the way as we take in the best views and points of interest. The walk will take about 3 hours to complete.
Sorry, no dogs allowed.
Please note:
- Meeting point: Morston Quay, by the Lookout Building.
- What to bring/wear: Walking shoes or boots, dress for the weather on the day, and a water bottle.
- Accessibility: Terrain includes uneven paths, some walking along country roads, tree roots, some kissing gates, and footbridges. May be wet or muddy so suitable footwear is essential. Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
- Children who can manage the walk are welcome.
- This is a free event. Voluntary donations to support our conservation work on the Norfolk coast welcome.
