Jane Austen Festival: ‘To Sit in the Shade’ - an Austen painting workshop
Explore watercolour techniques to create a beautiful floral border, then fill with your favourite Jane Austen quote.
The event will start with a chance to take a turn around the lower garden before it opens to the public.
Finish with a hot drink and bake from the Tea Cabin (included in the ticket price).

- Regency dress encouraged. Outdoor event, please dress appropriately.
- For lower garden, uneven terrain and moderate slopes (steep slopes rest of garden), stairs to bridge. Pre-bookable accessible parking available.
