Guided walk: Croft Ambrey

Join the outdoor ranger team for a guided walk through the parkland to Croft Ambrey Iron Age hillfort, exploring the fascinating archaeology and wildlife with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.

Set on a 300-metre high ridge to the north of the castle, Croft Ambrey, the Iron Age hillfort, is one of the most elaborate hillforts in the Welsh Marches. 

Come along and explore Croft Ambrey with the guidance of our knowledgeable ranger team, learning more about this 2,500 year old fortress and the surrounding landscape.

This event is free but limited spaces so please book. Normal admission applies.
