Family-friendly gardening workshops - Angel Central Shopping Centre - 23 May, 10am-2pm
Join us to find out how to green your balcony or window box this spring. To help you get started with the Sky Gardening Challenge, the National Trust has teamed up with an expert to bring you a series of free, 30 minute hands-on workshops at the Angel Central Shopping Centre, Islington.
Join The Barefoot Planter, Chauntelle Lewis, to have a go at some free family‑friendly and creative planting activities. Take home your own seeds and snap your own photo at our fun photo spot. Perfect for beginners and green fingers for all ages.
Come and chat to the team to discover how to take part in the Sky Gardening Challenge. Prepare to get your hands dirty and get gardening as the team takes you through how to start your balcony greening journey.
Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note:
- Location: Angel Central Shopping Centre, 21 Parkfield Street, Islington, London, N1 0PS. Each workshop will run for 30 minutes in total.
- The shopping centre is fully accessible and the workshop will be held in the piazza outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
- Any attending children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult (please also book a ticket for any children over age 5 attending).
