Jazz in June

Spend a relaxing summer afternoon on the South Terrace with the sounds of live jazz.

Join us for Jazz in June, as the Partridge‑and‑a‑Pair Trio bring the spirit of the Jazz Age to Dunster Castle. With a repertoire of nostalgic favourites from the 1920s and 1930s, expect an uplifting mix of classic tunes, rich melodies and smooth rhythms.

The trio features talented musicians with strong ties to the Cardiff‑based New Riverside Jazz Band, including Vic Partridge, son of the band’s original leader and trumpeter, Norman. Tony Mann brings depth with trombone and sousaphone, while Andy Leggett leads on clarinet and a variety of saxophones. Between them, the trio also add vocals, creating a lively and engaging performance full of character and charm.

Drinks & snacks will be available from Camellia House.

Sit back and soak up the atmosphere as music drifts across the terrace- the perfect way to while away a summer afternoon!
