Bug Hunting with Abi Young, Sun 21 June, 11am-12.30pm
This Pride Month, join queer ecologist and nature educator Abi Young (they/them) for a hands-on session exploring meadow sweeping with bug nets and bee identification in the beautiful rose garden.
Join us for an exploration of the park's invertebrates as we pick up bug nets and go exploring with queer ecologist Abi Young (they/them). This hands-on experience will be all about nature connection and the importance of protecting and creating habitat for invertebrate species while considering the queerness of these amazing tiny creatures.

Abi Young (they/them) is an Environmental Educator with a passion for engaging people in the natural world and inspiring them to protect it. Their work brings queer ecology, increasing inclusion and access to nature, as well as inspiring climate action through outdoor learning.
