National Meadows Day Family Workshop

The ranger team need your help to care for our meadows over National Meadows Day. Will you get involved?

Celebrate National Meadows Day (4th July) with a free family-focussed session with ranger Ben and the team. 

Learn how to conduct FIT counts (flower-insect timed count) in the Mother Orchard and Tower Fields, and help harvest yellow rattle seeds to plant on the estate to help increase plant biodiversity. 

The perfect way to celebrate all that meadows do our our environment, we encourage families to get involved and learn some fascinating facts along the way. We'd appreciate your help! 

This event is free but prebooking is essential.

  • Please meet at Visitor Welcome at 10:45am.
  • Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
  • There ground is uneven across the site and there are steps up to Tower Fields. Please contact us for specific access requirements.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
