Bat Walk at Crom
Would you like to learn more about bats? Join our rangers for a special evening event at Crom Estate.
If you're keen to learn more about bats and what types of species we have at Crom, this is the event for you.
Our Rangers will take you on a 1.5 hour walk around the estate where you'll hear about what species are found on the estate, before going to view some of their roosts.
Do you have a little one who would enjoy learning about these incredible creatures? Bring them along, as this is a family-friendly event.

- Please wear comfortable walking shoes and please dress for the weather.
- Please see our access statement for information on accessibility. Parking is available at the Estate Hub. The walk will be on mostly flat ground but the paths are made from gravel.
- Children are welcome.
- This event will start with a short talk inside the estate hub where a ranger will provide information on local bats.
- Afterwards you’ll go on a walk looking at known roosts on the estate. Please bring a torch.
- Dogs can come too but they must be on a short lead. However, they are not allowed in the estate hub for the talk at the beginning of the event. They must remain outside.
